Providing Compassion, Dignity, & Comfort for our Residents

by Roland L. Rust

The Living That Appreciate:

I lost my little Patricia on the 21 of December.  During her stay at Kinsington of four and a half days; the final days of Pat's life could not have been in better hands.

Every comfort was afforded to make her final days comfortable.

The care of the dying, the care of the recuperating elderly, you get an outstanding.

Heirloom Living Centers, LLC

Residential Memory Care with

Safety, Compassion and Dignity.

Mission Statement:  Heirloom is the region's leading provider of comprehensive memory care services. With thoughtful and appropriate programs and a sincere commitment to the community, we deliver advanced memory care programs and services, distinguished by the skill and compassion of our administrators and caregivers. Our goal is to provide a safe, compassionate and dignified environment in which our residents will be comfortable and secure.

Heirloom Living Centers LLC created Kinsington Place in 2011 to address the acute shortage of resident beds for those among us afflicted with a variety of Dementias, with Alzheimer's being the most common.  Our large staff provides 24-hour compassionate care and are led by:

  • Alison Andrews, Administrative Director, has been with Heirloom Living Centers since 2011 and is currently Administrator at Kinsington at Redwood Park.  She has had her administrator's certification since February of 2013.  Allison started out in the health care field as a Certified Nursing Assistant in 1993, at a skilled nursing facility in California.  From there, she has done assisted living, residential care facilities, home health and now memory care.  Memory care is by far the most challenging and heart felt care a person can do.  Memory care is not only the resident who you are providing care for, but you become an advocate for them and their family members.  With all the challenges in Memory Care, the rewards are far greater.
  • Kimberly Cardenas, Administrator.      Kim Cardenas started out in Healthcare in 2008 as Customer Service Rep for a large medical insurance company and then received her Caregiver Training and HIPPA Certification from Providence Medical Center. She started with Kinsington Place in 2015 as the MedAide/Activity Director and quickly moved into the Health Care Coordinator position.  Kim enjoys all aspects of memory care and strives to learn more and more about Dementia everyday. She loves getting to know each resident and their family members individually. Hearing their stories and where they've come from is one of her many joys of this career.

  • And our Nurses, Caregivers, Clerical Staff, Housekeepers, Maintenance, & Kitchen Staff:

Heirloom Living Centers' team is comprised of people from many different backgrounds who have accepted the special calling of memory care. From caregivers and nurses, to housekeepers and clerical staff, everyone at Heirloom Living Centers, LLC is part of an extended, caring family.

  • It takes a special person to provide the kind of care to your loved one that you would give.  We work hard to find and retain those special people.
